Social Security Mobile Health Programme Punjab ke registered Social Security workers aur unki families ke liye 12 October 2026 ko launch hua — CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif ne Lahore mein iska iftitah kiya. Programme ke tehat 65 mobile units — mobile hospitals, mobile clinics, dental aur cardiac units, aur motorcycle/scooter teams — factories aur industrial units tak jayengi, aur families ko unke doorstep par service milegi. What Is the PESSI Mobile Health Programme
Punjab Government Schemes ke tehat PESSI (Punjab Employees Social Security Institution) Labour & Human Resource Department ke under ek autonomous idara hai, jo 1965 ke Social Security Ordinance ke tehat secured workers ko medical care aur cash benefits deta hai. Who Can Use It — Eligibility
- Sirf PESSI mein registered (secured) workers aur unki families / dependants.
- Workers ko workplace par, aur families ko unke doorstep par service milti hai.
- Non-registered workers ya general public ka coverage kisi official bayan mein nahi hai.
- Registration worker khud nahi karta — uska employer (factory / establishment) use PESSI mein register karta hai aur wages ka 6% contribution deta hai; yeh employer ki zimmedari hai.
Unit par koi card ya document dikhana parega ya nahi — launch reports mein is ka zikr nahi hai, is liye yahan koi document lazmi nahi likha ja raha.
How It Works
- Mobile units launch districts (Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura) ki factories, commercial aur industrial units ka visit karti hain; motorcycle aur scooter teams apne designated routes follow karti hain.
- Worker workplace par, aur family doorstep par, consultation, diagnostics aur medicines ki service leti hai.
- Mobile clinics mein telemedicine bhi available hai — jahan zaroorat ho, remote consultation usi unit se hoti hai.
Kuch cheezon ki wazahat official tor par abhi nahi aayi: booking, appointment, app ya online registration ka koi tareeqa bayan nahi hua; koi published route schedule bhi nahi mila; aur in mobile units ke liye fee ya “free” honay ki wazahat bhi launch reports mein nahi hai. PESSI ki aam medical care contribution-based system ka hissa hai, lekin in units ke charges ke baray mein official wazahat aane tak yahan koi dawa nahi kiya ja raha.

The RHD Screening Drive
Is launch ka ek khaas hissa Mobile Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) Screening Unit hai. Plan ke mutabiq screening teams teenon launch districts ki 29,845 factories aur establishments visit karein gi, aur Punjab bhar ke workers’ welfare schools mein takreeban 54,000 bachon ki screening hogi. RHD dil ke valves ki woh bimari hai jo bachpan ke ilaj-na-shuda throat infections se banti hai — waqt par screening is se bachao ka pehla step hai.
Coverage and Expansion
Launch marhalay mein Lahore, Kasur aur Sheikhupura ke 46 lakh se zyada (4.6 million) workers aur families cover hain. March 2027 tak expansion ka plan hai: Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan aur Rawalpindi. How It Differs from Sehat Card
